Earl Hurlburt & Marcus Kim Guardians of the Flame Guides of the Invisible Way and Carriers of Ancestral Arts Earl and Marcus are two who answered the same whisper— a call that did not come from the surface, but from the deep well beneath names and time. Drawn to the sacred streams of Pencak Silat, and initiated into the esoteric lineages of Inti Ombak and Pusaka Sakti Mataram Lakutama, they walk a path of guardianship and transmission—where movement becomes invocation, and silence becomes instruction. Their work is not to teach technique, but to open the veins of memory— so the flame that lives in each person can rise, with dignity, clarity, and power. Through offerings such as Life is a Flame, Four Pillars, and The Forge, they create ceremonial spaces for those called to awaken. In these spaces, breath becomes bridge, the body becomes altar, and presence becomes prayer. Together, they carry the balance of opposites: • fire and stillness, • shadow and sovereignty, • discipline and devotion. They serve not as masters, but as keepers of a gate that opens inward. They carry these arts not as performers or experts, but as vessels of a living tradition—inviting others into the fire of transformation where breath, body, and myth are forged into wholeness. They do not impose belief, but invoke remembering—that we are each forged in mystery, guided by unseen hands, and capable of walking with noble power through this world and the next.
